UPSE ESE Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
A candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India
Age Limit
- Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years
- The upper age-limit of 30 years will be relaxable up to 35 years in the case of Government servants
- For reserved category, further relaxation will be provided
Education Qualification
- Candidate must have a degree in Engineering from a recognized university
- For Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engg. Posts) – M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject
- For Indian Radio Regulatory Service – M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a subject or Master’s Degree in Science with Physics and Radio Communication or Electronics or Telecommunication as a special subject

UPSE ESE Admit Card
Admit card for UPSE ESE 2023 admit card is released once the exam date is closing usually, 2-3 weeks before the examination. You can download the admit card from the official website. It is important for the candidates participating in the UPSE ESE entrance exam to follow the guidelines mentioned on the Admit card.
UPSE ESE 2023 Exam Result
The Exam result will be released within a month or two after the examination is conducted. Along with the result, a cut-off will also be released which is the minimum marks required for the candidates to pass the examination for admission.
UPSE ESE Selection Procedure
The selection procedure of UPSE ESE is done based on the entrance examination. There are different stages in the examination, candidate who have passed stage-I will be eligible to stage-II and candidate who passed stage-II will be eligible for stage-III. The qualifying candidates of Stage I + Stage II + Stage III will be included in the Final Merit List of Engineering Services Exam.
