Eligibility Criteria of TISS BAT Exam 2024
TISS BAT 2024 eligibility conditions are met by all applicants who have completed Class XII in any subject from a recognised board. Applicants who have yet to receive their Class XII exam results are also eligible to apply. Applicants who have completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma and are awaiting the announcement of their Class 12th results by June 2024 are also eligible to take the exam.
Age limit: All applicants must be under the age of 23 on August, 2024, when they take the TISS BAT exam. The official website states that candidates over this age are ineligible to apply for the exam.

How to download TISS BAT 2024 Admit Card
Step 1: To obtain their respective admission cards, applicants must first go to the Tata Institute of Social Sciences’ official website.
Step 2: On the website’s admissions page, the applicant will discover a link titled “TISS BAT 2024 admit card” after inputting the required information. The applicant will be sent to a new tab after clicking the link, which will contain the candidate’s admit card.

Step 4: The admit card will appear on the screen after you log in. Applicants are recommended to make two copies of their admit card after downloading it.
Step 3: Attend TISS BAT.
Applicants must then take the Bachelor’s Admission Test. The TISS BAT is a computer-based assessment that includes both objective and subjective questions. The exam is 90 minutes long, and candidates must finish it in that time.
Step 4: Examine the TISS BAT results.
Applicants can view their TISS BAT 2024 result by entering their registration number and password on the Tata Institute of Social Sciences’ official website. The names and/or roll numbers of applicants who qualified for the entrance exam are listed in the TISS BAT result.
On the basis of their BAT scores, all candidates would be awarded admission to BA courses at TISS.
Note: For admission to the BA (Hons) in Social Work programme in 2017-18, applicants had to go through a personal interview (PI) round. The institute, on the other hand, has cancelled the PI round for this year.

Things to Remember for TISS BAT Exam 2024
• Applicants must have their individual admit cards to the exam centre; those who do not have their admit cards will not be permitted to sit for the entrance exam at the site. Applicants are also urged to read the admission card carefully. Applicants are recommended to inform TISS officials as soon as possible if there is an error.
• Applicants must be at the exam site before the allocated time on their TISS BAT 2024 admit card.
• Applicants should save their TISS BAT 2024 admit card for future reference after the entrance exam.
Exam Pattern of TISS BAT 2024
The TISS BAT 2024 test pattern has changed, and students will now have 45 minutes to answer 40 multiple choice questions (MCQ). TISS BAT will be notified in an online mode to students who have successfully applied online. The following is the new exam pattern for the online mode:

For BA admissions, the TISS BAT 2024 test format divides the question paper into two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A covers objective questions on current events, social awareness, and logical and analytical reasoning, among other topics. Part B consists of subjective English questions in which applicants must compose two brief questions in 30 minutes.
It should be mentioned that the exam is administered as a computer-based test online.
Applicants must finish both parts of the paper within 1.5 hours. Applicants can receive a maximum of 100 points in the exam. Candidates can refer to the table below for more information:

It should be emphasised that applicants are required to attempt and pass both parts of the exam. According to the official website, “both Part A and Part B will have different cut-off marks for evaluation.”
Part B’s grading method is as follows: each question receives 20 points. If there is any negative marking in the exam, it is not stated on the official website.
