- Tier 1 will be Objective-type paper with Multiple Choice Questions
- Tier 2 will be Objective-type paper with Multiple Choice Questions except for Module-II of Section-III
- Exam Duration for Tier 1: Candidate will get 1 hour to complete 100 questions. Each question carries 2 marks.
- Exam Time Duration for Tier 2: Candidate will get 135 minutes for Session-I Session-II, Part A: Skill Test for DEO for 15 Minutes and Session II, Part B: Typing Test for LDC/ JSA for 10 Minutes
- Negative Marking: There will be deduction of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer marked in Tier. While there will be deduction of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section-III in Tier 2
- Exam Language: English and Hindi
Application Form
Applicants are required to apply for SSC CHSL 2025 examination through the official website and in the online mode. Follow the below mentioned steps to apply for SSC CHSL 2025:
- In the first step, go to the official SSC website ssc.nic.in.
- Once you visit the website, click on SSC CHSL application link.
- Now, complete the registration form.
- Make sure to upload the scanned photograph and signature.
- Fill the application form with correct details
- Make payment of the application fee.
- Lastly, submit the duly filled application form and save the confirmation page for further reference.
Application Fee
The application fee for SSC CHSL 2025 is INR 100. However, women, SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen aspirants are exempted from paying the application fee for SSC CHSL Exam.
Eligibility Criteria
If you are eligible to apply for SSC CHSL 2025 exam, then only your duly filled application form is accepted. Here are the eligibility conditions:
Educational Conditions:
- For LDC/ JSA/ DEO: Applicants must clear Class XII or possessed with an equivalent qualification from some recognised board/university
- For DEO (Grade A): Candidates must have cleared Class XII in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from some recognised board or equivalent
Age Limit:
- Those who have age between 18-27 years can apply for SSC CHSL 2025 exam. However, there will be age relaxation for reserved category applicants as per the government guidelines and details for the same are mentioned below:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen (ExS) – 3 years (after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the date of reckoning)
- Children and dependents of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (Unreserved) – 5 years
- Children and dependents of victims killed in the 1,984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (OBC) – 8 years
- Children and dependents of victims killed in the 1,984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (SC/ST) – 10 years
- Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from January 1, 1980, to December 31, 1989: 5 years
