SSC CGL 2024 – 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria for participating in the SSC CGL entrance examination-
- The candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Bhutan or Nepal. A Tibetan refugee who came here before 1st January 1962 to settle here permanently
- Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university in any discipline. Some posts demand specific degree of the subject matter
- The minimum age allowed age for a candidate is 18 years and the maximum age requirement for the entrance examination is 32 years, however, there are age relaxation provided to candidates belonging to reserved category candidates, which is as follows-

- Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ and start filling in the required details like email ID password etc.
- Now, verify the email by clicking on the verification link send by Jammu & Kashmir CET
- Now, Log in to your account and click on the apply button
- A form will appear, fill the form with correct information
- Now upload your scanned passport size photograph
- Now you have to upload the scanned copy of all the certificates and documents mentioned below
- Now a payment gateway will open where you have to pay the application fee using Credit/Debit, UPI, Net Banking, or challan
- Take a print out of the payment confirmation slip and the application for future uses

SSC CGL Examination Pattern
SSC CGL examination will be conducted in 4 tiers. Candidate has to pass each tier examination in step by step base. If the candidate passes the final tier examination then he/she will be selected for the job. The following are the pattern of SSC CGL examination-
Tier-I
All candidates can participate in this examination and total time provided will be 1 hour. It will be computer based test and consist of 200 marks. The question will be in both Hindi and English. There is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for wrong answer and for right answer 2 marks will be awarded.

Tier-II
Candidate who have successfully cleared the tier-I examination will be eligible to participate in tier-II examination. Paper-I and Paper-II will be compulsory for all the posts and candidates have to appear in Paper-III also for Statistical Investigation. Paper-IV is meant for the candidates opting for Assistant Audit Officer. The question will be in both Hindi and English. There is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for wrong answer and for right answer 2 marks will be awarded.

Tier-III
This section is a descriptive writing section where the candidate will be tested based on his/her ability to write precise and essays. Candidates who successfully passed the Tier-I and Tier-II examination will be eligible to participate in this examination.
Tier-IV
In this tier examination, candidate computer skills will be tested. This is a computer proficiency test or Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) which will be applicable for the Tax Assistant post.

SSC CGL Admit Card

SSC CGL Result will be released after examination in form of merit list. The test score based on written test will be taken into consideration and a merit list will be prepared.
