Kendriya Vidyalaya Akampat Application Form 2024-25
The admission process for Kendriya Vidyalaya Akampat will start from 1st April 2024. The admission notification will be released at the end of March for the academic year 2024 - 2025.
Parents can apply for for Kendriya Vidyalaya Akampat through the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. One cannot take admission to the for Kendriya Vidyalaya Akampat directly. You can apply at official website and then select the choice of your school. The following are the step-by-step instructions on how to apply for the admission in for Kendriya Vidyalaya Akampat :
- Visit the official KVS website and click on the register button
- After clicking on the register button, you are required to create an ID and password
- After creating the login credentials and validating them, login to your account using the login credentials
- After logging in, navigate to the application form link and click on it
- Now, fill out the application form using the child's name, address, education qualification, parent’s details. Here you need to select for Kendriya Vidyalaya Akampat as a choice of school.
- After filling out the form, upload the necessary documents mentioned below and click on the submit button
- You’ll be displayed your full application form before final submission where you have to check it thoroughly for any error

Kendriya Vidyalaya Akampat , Imphal East Admission Process
Admission in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools 2024 is primarily given to the students based on the lottery systems. There are also various quotas offered to various reserved category candidates. The following are the admission process for KV classes-
KV Class-1 onwards
There are a total of 40 seats per section and the fresh admission will be given based on the following sequence:
- First Lot- 10 seats out of 40 seats per section will be filled through a lottery system from all applications of SC/ST/EWS/BPL/OBC
- Second Lot- Lottery system for differently-abled students of SC/ST/OBCNCL/Unreserved through Priority Category
- Third Lot- The remaining seats will be filled as per the existing Priority category system of categories 1 and 2
- Fourth Lot- Remaining seats reserved for SC/ST/OBC-NCL will be available for admission to SC/ST/OBC-NCL students
- Fifth Lot-If still seat remains vacant then priority admission category 3 onwards will be taken into consideration
Note- Out of the total number of seats for fresh admission, 25% of seats are reserved for Right to Education (RTE), 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 27% seats are reserved for OBC-NCL.
KV Class 2-8 onwards
There is no admission test for admission into the 2nd to 8 class and the admission will be granted based on a lottery system with a priority category system
KV Class 9 onwards
- For admission into the 9th class, the test admission will be conducted in a single paper consisting of Hindi, English, Maths, Social Science, and Science questions
- A total of 3 hours will be given for a total of 100 marks
- The passing mark is 33% and for the SC/ST/PH category the passing marks scored 25% in aggregate
- Admission into the KV Class 9 will be based on the performance test and a merit list will be prepared
KV Class 11
- The marks obtained by the candidates will be used to give admission to the candidates into the Science, Commerce, or Arts section of class 11th
- The following are the maximum marks required to get admission in different streams-
- Science Stream: A minimum of 60% Marks in all subjects
- Commerce: A minimum of 60% Marks in all subjects
- Humanities Stream: All students of KV if declared passed in the 10th exam
Note- Admission to the non-KV students will be depending upon the availability of the seats after admitting previous year candidates.
About Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS)
Kendriya Vidyalaya schools come under the Ministry of Education and were mainly formed for the Army personnel’s children who are posted in remote locations, but, after the formation of Army Public Schools, the program was extended to all the Government Employees. K.V. schools are well-maintained, well-funded, and very attractive school that is considered one of the most prominent schools in India.
