Sainik School is an elite school that is managed by the Sainik School Satara under the Ministry of Defence. It was primarily a boy-only school however, the school now allows girls to take admission as well.
The admission into the school takes place from class 6th onwards and goes till class 12th. The school’s primary aim is to prepare the candidates for facilitating the candidate’s entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Naval Academy (INA).
Sainik School is one of the largest contributors to the Armed Forces in the country making it a primary choice for patriotic candidates.
The school follows the CBSE Plus system which provides basic education along with military discipline and curriculum to make it easy for the candidates to get into the NDA and INA.

Sainik School Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Class 6th Students
- The candidates must be at the age between 10 to 12 years
- The candidates should have passed class 5th from a recognized board

The registration for the Sainik School is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the candidate must get themselves registered for participating in the entrance examination. You can follow these steps to fill out the application form for the Sainik School Admission–

Sainik School Result 2024 – 2025
The results for the AISSEE 2024-25 exam for admissions to classes 6 and 9, have been declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The AISSEE 2024-25 exam results released on February 25, 2024. Result can be checked by students who appeared for the exam on the official AISSEE website at aissee.nta.nic.in. To access their AISSEE 2024 exam result, students need to provide their application number and date of birth.

- Click on the “AISSEE-2024 Score Card” under “Candidate Activity” heading.
- On the page, enter application number, date of birth and submit with correct captcha pin.

Sainik School Admission Reservation Policy
The following are the reservation policy followed for admission into the Sainik School–

Sainik School Admission 2024-25 Process
Admission into the Sainik School will be based on the merit list prepared which will consist of the marks scored by the candidates in both the Written Examination and Medical Test. The candidates who have made it to the final merit list will have to submit their documents to the school followed by blocking /her seat.
