Students will appear in the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) for admission to BE/ B.Tech and B.Arch programs. Reserved candidates will be considered based on their merit in the JEE Main examination conducted by CBSE for a seat under this quota. There is no provision of reservation for admission to the BHMCT program. However, a few seats are reserved every year as per the Government of Rajasthan norms.

RTU B.Tech Selection Criteria:

B.Tech. Geno _ Admission to the B.Tech. The program is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the 10+2 qualifying exam followed by REAP counselling, but preference will be given to those who have applied based on the JEE Main score. However, admission to this course is restricted only to candidates belonging to General/ OBC categories with a minimum of 50% marks (for General candidates), 45% marks (for SC/ ST candidates) and 40% marks (for PWD candidates) in their qualifying exam results as per UPTU CAT- norms and rules.

RTU B.Tech Registration Process:

• Fill online application form via REAP portal. It is a three-step process from receiving your invite code, filling the application form online and uploading supporting documents.
• For the application processing, an applicant (interviewee) has to pay an application fee through net banking.
• Once the Application Form is filled and submitted, candidates will be asked to deposit a non-refundable amount of INR 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Fifty Only) via e-Mitra Kiosk (Point of Presence). Payment can be made through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking or any other Online mode. On successful payment for the Application Form, candidates will get an amount receipt with a one-time password (OTP), which will have to be used while accessing the portal to confirm the application form at URL: www.MHA.nic.in.

 After submission of the application form.

• After making the online payment for the given exam, an alphanumeric code will appear on your computer screen which you need to keep safe for later use. It should be stored in a secure place so as not to lose it, as the same is required at the time of admission.
• After uploading your photograph and signature, you will be provided with a list of seats available for the academic program that you have selected. You will be required to choose the seat number. Before proceeding for final admission, please ensure that there is no error in the seat number. This is very important as the seat number is final and cannot be changed after registration at the time of admission.

The Master of Technology (M.Tech.) and Master of Architectural Technology (M.Arch.T) are two-year programs, which reflect the institute’s commitment to knowledge transfer – from classrooms to industry. RTU Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech and M.Arch:

• Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech. or an M.Sc. degree in a relevant field for applying to M.Tech. while B.Arch program is open ONLY for candidates with a B.Arch degree or its equivalent qualification (i.e., possessing a valid registration certificate (ECR) from the Council of Architecture).

Selection Criteria for B.Tech and M.Arch:

RTU CAM seeks to identify a talented pool of candidates with deep knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for learning. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their academic performance in B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech or GATE. The marks obtained in the qualifying degree are considered in combination with the applicant’s professional experience, achievements, contributions made in the academic/ research sphere and work experience.

RTU PG Admission 2024:

MBA and MCA programs are also available for the duration of two years.

Selection Criteria:

The admission to the MBA, MCA and MD programs will be on the basis of the candidate’s performance in RMAT and RMCAAT. The candidate’s academic record will also be taken into account for admission to the program. A candidate can get minimum marks in each section of RMAT and thereafter those who have obtained a cut-off minimum in each of the sections will only be considered for admission. The above method has been kept for Admission to the MBA as well.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Ph.D. program in a CE department is a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) in any bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or its equivalent from a recognized university.

Selection Criteria:

Students may also be admitted to the Ph.D. program only on the basis of their performance in RTU DAT with an appropriate interview by the advisory committee, headed by the Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Technology. This is for students who do not have a suitable background in engineering or technology.

How to Apply for Rajasthan Technical University?

The application period of RTU starts in the month of October. The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications to the admission committee and can also submit their documents for verification. The applications will be rejected outright if any portion of the application is submitted late or if some information is missing.
