RBI Officer Grade B Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for RBI Officer Grade B-

  • The number of attempt available to candidates is 6 times only
  • The candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Bhutan or Nepal. A Tibetan refugee who came here before 1st January 1962 with the intention to settle here permanently
  • Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized university with at least 60% marks  aggregated in the qualifying examination (50% for those belong to SC, ST, and PWD)
  • Candidate must have completed class 12th  from a recognized board with at least 60% marks  aggregated in the qualifying examination (50% for those belong to SC, ST, and PWD)
  • Candidate must be between 21 years of age to 30 years of age, however, for candidates having Ph.D. and M.Phil. must have age limit extension till 34

RBI Officer Grade B 2024 Application Form

The Application form of RBI Grade B can be filled out online. The following are the steps by step application process-

  • Visit the official website of the RBI- https://www.rbi.org.in/
  • Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ and start filling in the required details like email ID password etc.
  • Now, verify the email by clicking on the verification link send by RBI website
  • Now, Log in to your account and click on the apply button
  • A form will appear, fill the form with correct information
  • Now upload your scanned passport size photograph
  • Now you have to upload the scanned copy of all the certificates and documents mentioned below
  • Now a payment gateway will open where you have to pay the application fee using Credit/Debit, UPI, Net Banking, or challan
  • Take a print out of the payment confirmation slip and the application for future uses

RBI Grade B Admit Card

The admit card is an important document that each candidate must carry with them on the examination centre. Admit Card can be downloaded online from the official website of RBI. Admit card has guidelines that the candidate must follow failing could cause illegibility to participate in the examination.

RBI Grade B Result

RBI Grade B Result will be released after examination in form of merit list. The test score based on written test will be taken into consideration and a merit list will be prepared. You can check the result from the official website. Candidates whose name is on the merit list will be eligible for participating in the interview. After interview phase, a final merit list will be provided by RBI with the names of the candidates who are selected for RBI Grade B post.
