Admission to M.Tech is based on the relevant scores attained in GATE examination. Candidates need to appear in the Written Test which will be followed by an Interview to acquire admission in Ph.D. program. B.Tech Admission:

B.Tech is a 6 year program that comes with several specializations at Under Graduate level. Those who have cleared class X with minimum 50% marks may apply. Admission will be offered on the basis of marks scored in Class X. Only shortlisted candidates will appear for counseling during the final seat allotment.

M.Tech Specialization comprises of the following:

Ph.D Admission:

RGUKT proffers admission to several Ph.D. at Doctorate level in disciplines such as Science and Engineering.

• Candidate must have completed Master’s degree in the related stream is the desired eligibility criteria for admission.
• Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written exam and interview Ph.D.        in Science: Applicant must have acquired Master’s degree in MA/M.Sc. in the reelvant branch chosen by the candidate for doing research with relevant CPI of 7.0 or 70% marks.
• Ph.D.     in Engineering: Candidate must have done M.Tech.MS in the relevant branch or equivalent qualification >7.5 CGPA out of 10 in Post Graduation qualification (for SC/ST category applicants it is >7.0)

Steps to Apply through AP Online Center (for all candidates)

• Go to the nearest AP Online Center along with the required documents and soft copies of passport size photos.
• Now, pay the application fee of INR 150 (INR 100 for SC/ST candidates) along with service charges of INR 25. Make payment of the Application fee via payment link mentioned on the website.
• Keep the print of the application fee receipt for future reference.
• Aspirants belonging to states other than Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Gulf Countries or NRIs may apply via ‘Other States & NRI Students’.
