What is NCHMCT JEE?
NCHMCT JEE (also known as NHCM JEE) is a national-level entrance test for applicants to hospitality and hotel administration programmes. The NCHMCT JEE exam was administered by the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM & CT), an autonomous agency under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, until 2018. However, starting in 2019, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be in charge of administering the NCHMT JEE test. Last year, 32,603 people applied for the NCHMCT JEE.
NCHMCT JEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed their Class 12 from a recognised board with passing grades fulfil the NCHMCT JEE eligibility requirements. In the table below, candidates must meet the following age requirements to be eligible for this hotel management entrance exam:

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria: Qualifying Examinations for Indian Students

• Any recognised Central/State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examinationor State Boards of Secondary Education, offers a plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary Education.
• A two-year intermediate or pre-university examination administered by a recognised institution.
• Advanced (A) level of the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka).
• Cambridge University’s High School Certificate Examination
• Any public school/board/university examination recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equal to the 10+2 Senior Secondary Education pattern in India or a foreign country.
• NCVT and SCVT of the concerned state have authorised the HSC Vocational Examination.
• The National Open School will administer a Senior Secondary School Examination with a minimum of five courses, one of which must be English, and the results will be available until September 30, 2021.
Aside from that, “all eligible candidates will have to provide a physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of admission for carrying out practical sessions as necessary in the Course,” according to the official NCHMCT JEE 2024 booklet.

How to Fill NCHMCT JEE 2024 Application Form
In order to properly fill out their application form for the NCHMCT JEE test, candidates must follow the procedures outlined below.
1st step: Fill out the NCHMCT JEE Exam Registration Form online.
Candidates must first register for the NCHMCT JEE test by submitting personal information such as their name, date of birth, and other personal information.

Step 2: Complete the NCHMCT JEE 2024 Application Form with your information.
Aspirants must give information about their preferred test city, name, mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, category, nationality, address, email address, and educational credentials on the NCHMCT JEE application form. After filling in all of these facts, applicants can either reset the form if it hasn’t been filled out to their satisfaction or submit their application form if they are confident that all of the information they have supplied is right.
Step 3: Upload a photo of yourself and your signature.
Applicants must next include scanned copies of their signature and photo to their NCHMCT application form. The photo should be in colour or black and white (but clear contrast).
Step 4: Pay the application fee for NCHMCT JEE 2024.
Candidates must choose from Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI Payment, and PayTM to pay the application cost for the NCHMCT JEE test.

Note: Previously, the application cost could be paid via e-challan, however this service has been suspended owing to the COVID-19 epidemic and nationwide lockdown.
Step 5: Save the Confirmation Page to your computer.
The candidate will be able to print the Confirmation Page after making a successful payment. If the Confirmation Page does not appear after the fee has been paid, the transaction will be cancelled and the money reimbursed to the candidate’s account. In the event that the Confirmation Page is not created, the applicant must complete another transaction.
Step 6: Print Application Form for NCHMCT JEE Exam
Candidates are given a “auto-generated Application Number” if the fee is paid successfully. Following that, candidates must save the print version of the application form. Candidates must next print a clean copy of their NCHMCT JEE 2024 application form. Candidates are advised that after they have paid the test fee, they will not be able to make any changes to their NCHMCT JEE 2024 application form.

The list of colleges that will accept NCHMCT JEE 2024 results has been revealed. NCHMCT JEE results will be accepted by 21 central Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs), 25 state IHMs, one Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) IHM, 24 private IHMs, and 13 food craft institutes in 2024. Over the years, the number of seats available for admission through NCHMCT JEE has increased.

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Exam Analysis
The NCHMCT JEE 2021 exam was held in August. Overall, the NCHMCT JEE 2021 format was identical to that of the previous year’s exam. Students said the exam was simple to take and that they finished the paper on time. In comparison to previous year, there were no modifications to the NCHMCT JEE 2021 test design or marking method. In 180 minutes, candidates were required to answer 200 questions. The NCHMCT JEE 2021 test had a total weightage of 800 points. In the hospitality entrance test, there was negative marking.
NCHMCT JEE Exam Pattern 2024
Three hours are allotted for the NCHMCT All India Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). Candidates must be at their designated test centre at least 60 minutes prior to the start of the examination. The NCHMCT JEE exam paper is bilingual, meaning that all questions are available in both English and Hindi, with the exception of the English Language portion, which is only available in English.

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Marking Scheme
Candidates will receive four marks for each right answer in the sections of Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning & Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, and English Language. However, one mark will be removed from their total for each wrong response.

Each applicant will be placed at a desk with a computer terminal and given rough sheets for computations as well as a pen/pencil at the exam centre.
