NATA stands for National Aptitude Test in Architecture which is an entrance test for indulging in the Under Graduate program for Architecture course. It is conducted by the Council of Architecture or COA at a national level. After clearing this examination, the candidates will be eligible to pursue architecture courses like B.Arch. from any college across India. You can find both Government and Private Colleges providing these courses and they consider the entrance scores as basic eligibility, therefore, it becomes important for the candidate to pass the examination if they want to pursue an architecture career. Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria that the candidate must have to participate in the examination, which is as follows-
- The minimum age requirement of NATA is 17 years of age
- Candidates are required to be a high school graduate (12th or equivalent)or appearing in high school examination from a recognized board with main subjects like Maths
- At least 50% marks are required for the candidates in the qualification exam

The following are the steps that you can follow to register for the NATA entrance examination-
- Registration for NATA can be done online
- Visit the official website of the NATA- https://www.nata.in/
- Click on the Registration button followed by clicking on the signup button
- Now, signup using your mobile number, email, name, and other important details
- Confirm your registration using an email sent to you from NATA
- Now login to your website and click on the registration form
- Fill out the form using the correct details followed by uploading the document mentioned below
- Now payment page appears, and you can pay the application fee using UPI, Credit/debit card, net banking, etc.
- After paying the application fee, download the Payment confirmation followed by a printout of the filled application form for future use
Application Fee
The application fee for NATA is Rs. 1250/-. You can pay the application fee online using UPI, Credit/debit card, net banking, etc. If you want to participate in the examination conducted in Dubai then your application fee will be Rs.7000/-.

NATA 2024 Exam Pattern
NATA entrance exam is a two-part exam- The drawing exam and the CBT test. In BCT, a total of 40 questions have to be answered in 60 minutes. The medium of the Aptitude Test will be the English language. In the drawing exam, three questions will be provided and two hours for examination will be allotted. There is no negative marking. NATA Result
The result of the NATA will be released on the official website of NATA. The scorecard is usually released after days of examination. The NATA scorecard will be valid for 2 years from the date of examination.

Admission Procedure
After passing the examination the candidate must apply for counseling in different colleges. All the colleges organize counseling separately, you have to decide where you want to take admission, however, the colleges release a cut-off list and you must apply for counseling accordingly. The scorecard is valid for 2 years meaning you can apply for colleges within two years.
Counseling
Counseling is a process where an event for a candidate who passed the NATA examination will be asked to visit with documentation and block the seat. You have to block the seat by paying the college fee on the day of counseling.
