JKLU Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of JKLU is as follows-
B.Tech Course
- Candidates must have done 10+2 from any recognized Board of Secondary Education with minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) with subjects like Mathematics, Physics and any one of the four optional courses (Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Chemistry)
- Candidates must have participated in National level engineering entrance exams such as JEE, JKLU-EET (JK Lakshmipat University-Engineering Entrance Test), BITSAT or any other equivalent state level engineering entrance examination
M.Tech Course
- Candidates must be B.E or B.Tech degree holder or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks (or 6.25 CGPA in 10.0 point scale) and 50% marks (or 5.75 CGPA for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) from a recognized University
- candidates should have to appear in one of the national level entrance exams such as JKLU-PGEET (JK Lakshmipat University-Post Graduate Engineering Entrance Test) or GATE
MBA+BBA Integrated Course
- Candidates must have done (10+2) from any recognized Board with minimum of 50% marks(45% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category)
MBA Course
- Candidates must have a three year’s Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) or equivalent CGPA from any recognized University
- Candidate must have qualified in MAT, CAT, ATMA, CMAT, JMET, XAT, JKLU-MET or any other competitive
Ph.D course
- Candidates must have done a Master’s degree or equivalent in related subject from any recognized University in India with a minimum of 55% marks or 5.5/10 CGPA (50% or 5/10 CGPA for candidates belonging to SC/ST category)
- Candidates must have done a Master’s Degree in which they want to do a Ph. D and has obtained a minimum 55% marks in such diploma

JKLU Admission Process
The Application form of JKLU can be filled online. The following are the steps by step application process-
- Visit the official website of the JKLU- https://www.jklu.edu.in/admission/
- Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ and start filling in the required details like email ID password etc.
- Now, verify the email by clicking on the verification link send by JKLU
- Now, Log in to your account and click on the apply button
- A form will appear, fill the form with correct information
- Now upload your scanned passport size photograph
- Now you have to upload the scanned copy of all the certificates and documents mentioned below
- Now a payment gateway will open where you have to pay the application fee using Credit/Debit, UPI, Net Banking, or challan
- Take a print out of the payment confirmation slip and the application for future uses

JKLU 2023 Selection Process
The selection Process for JKLU will be based on the entrance examination and academic qualification. A merit list will be prepared by the university also after the entrance test, a personal interview and Group Discussion session (if applicable) will also be organized. A merit list is a minimum marks required by the candidates to take admission.
JKLU 2023 Exam Result
The examination result of the JKLU will be released after 2-3 weeks of examination. You can find the exam result on the official website of the JKLU.
JKLU Counselling
A counseling session will be organized for the candidates who have qualified for the entrance examination. Based on the merit list, the candidates will be offered different colleges to choose from. You can choose the colleges based on your liking, fees, location, etc. when appearing for the counseling session of a particular college, the candidate must provide relevant documents in original as well as a printout.
