The following are the step-by-step instructions on how to apply for the IIT Gandhinagar Ph.D. application form–
- Visit the official website of the IIT Gandhinagar and click on the register button
- Now, get yourself registered using your login credentials
- After logging in, navigate to the application form and start filling out the application form with details like name, address, education qualification, etc.
- Now, upload the documents mentioned below followed by clicking on the submit button
- After clicking on the submit, you have to pay the application fee using your credit/debit card, UPI, etc.

IIT Gandhinagar Ph.D. Fellowship details
The following are the fellowship details of the IIT Gandhinagar Ph.D. course–
- Under the fellowship admission, the candidates will be provided with an allowance of Rs.31,000 per month, if he/she holds the following-
- Post Graduate Degree in basic science with the NET/GATE qualifications
- Graduation degree in a professional course like B.Tech./B.E. with NET/GATE exam qualification
- Post Graduate Degree in a professional course like M.Tech/M.E. with GATE examination qualification
- The candidates having two years of research experience will be offered 35,000/-
IIT Gandhinagar Ph.D. Admission Process
To get admission into the IIT Gandhinagar Ph.D. program, the candidates are provided to take admission under two categories- Regular (RR) and Continuing Doctoral Programme (CDP). It is a three-year Ph.D. course in 13 research areas. The admission will be based on the academic record, Entrance Test/written test, and personal interview. The candidates having GATE/SLET/CSIR-NET/UGC-NET/INSPIRE Fellowship are exempted from written tests.
