RRB Stands for Regional Rural Banks which are banks spread across India in rural areas. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection IBPS organized the examination for recruiting candidates for selection as RRB officers or assistants.  This examination is a national-level entrance examination conducted every year. IBPS RRB Selection Post

The following are the list of the post where the candidates will be contested for the examination-

Office Assistant

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for applying for the IBPS RRB examination-

• The applicant participating in the entrance examination must be a citizen of India or Nepal or Bhutan or Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1962

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)         

• The candidate must be in between 18 years of age to 28 at the max
• The candidate is required to have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university

Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)   

• The candidate must be in between 18 years of age to 30 at the max
• The candidate is required to have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university

Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager)  

• The candidate’s age must be in between 21 years of age to a maximum of 32 years of age
• The candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination
• Two years of experience as a Bank officer or other financial institution

Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager)

• The candidate’s age must be in between 21 years of age to a maximum of 32 years of age

Information Technology Officer

• The candidate must have a valid Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks
• The candidates are also required to have a Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, etc. with One year of experience in the field

Chartered Accountant

• The candidates are required to be a Certified Associate (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. With one year of experience as a Chartered Accountant.

Law Officer

• The candidates are required to have an LLB degree from a recognized university with 50% marks from a recognized university with at least 50% marks
• The candidates are also required to have worked as n law officer in banks o financial intuition for at least 2 years.

Treasury Manager

• The candidates are required to have a valid degree of Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution with One Year of experience

Marketing Officer

• The candidates are required to have passed MBA in Marketing from a recognized university with at least One Year of experience

Agricultural Officer

• The candidates are required to have passed Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)

• The candidate’s age must be in between 21 years of age to a maximum of 32 years of age
• The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university
• A Minimum 5 years of experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial institution is required

Note- If the candidate belongs to the reserved category then he/she will get relaxation as per the following government rules-

Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen	The actual period of service rendered in the defense forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to a maximum age limit of 50 years
Widows, Divorced women, and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried	9 years

IBPS RRB Application Form 2024

You can follow these steps to fill out the application form for the IBPS RRB examination online-

• Visit the official website of IBPS and navigate to the RRB button followed by clicking on the apply button
• Now. Click on the new registration link and use your email Id and password to get yourself registered
• After registration, login to your account using your login credentials
• After logging in, fill out the application form with correct details like name, address, education qualification, etc.
• Now, upload the documents mentioned below in the relevant section of the form followed by clicking on the pay button
• You can pay the application fee using a credit card/debit card, net banking, UPI, etc.
• After successful payment, make sure to take a printout of the application form and payment receipt

IBPS RRB Admit Card 2024

The admit card is an important document that every candidate participating in the entrance examination is required to have. If the candidate fails to show the IBPS RRB admit card then he/she will not be allowed to appear in the entrance examination. You can download the IBPS RRB admit card from the official website of IBPS, however, the examination conducting authority did not yet release the admit card for IBPS RRB. We will update the admit card status once the admit card for IBPS RRB has been released.
