IBPS PO stands for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officers which is an entrance examination for the candidates interested in pursuing a career in the Banking field. If you pass this examination, then you will be recruited by a Government Bank as a Probationary Officer. IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria for the IBPS PO examination-
- The applicant must be a citizen of India or Nepal/Bhutan or Tibetan Refugee settled in India before 1962
- The age of the applicant must be between 20 years of age to 30 years
- The applicant must be a graduate or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized board with special age relaxation provided to the following candidates-

| Candidates affected by the 1984 riots | 5 years |

IBPS PO Admit Card 2024
The admit card is an important document that every candidate must carry with them to examination centers to participate in the entrance examination. IBPS PO Selection Process
The selection of the IBPS PO happens in three different stages- Prelims, Mains, and interviews. Each stage is the precursor for other stages. Prelims are qualifying in nature and main, interview marks will be added to the final merit list for the selected candidates. The final cut-off marks will decide who will be selected as a PO officer or who will be rejected.
