How to Fill HP SET 2024 Application Form?

• Candidates must upload a scanned copy of their photo and signature.
• Applicants must ensure that the uploaded photo and signature are clear.

• Payment of the Application Fee is the sixth step.
• Paying the application fee is the final step in the HP SET application procedure.
• Candidates must pay the above-mentioned application cost using the e-payment method, i.e., online channel.
Educational Qualification Required for HP SET 2024
To be eligible for HP SET 2024, candidates must meet the educational requirements outlined below.
Criteria 1: Candidates who have completed a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% of the marks are eligible. However, the minimum eligibility mark necessary for Himachal Pradesh reserved category and PH candidates is 50% in Master’s degree. All reservation regulations for HP SET 2024 are solely applicable to Himachal Pradesh applicants. Reserved category applicants from other states taking the HP SET will be regarded exclusively in the General Category.
Criteria 2: Candidates in their last year of a Master’s degree programme are also eligible for the HP SET 2024. To be eligible for the issuance of the HP SET certificate, applicants must have completed a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55 percent (50 percent for reserved) marks.
Criteria 3: Ph.D. holders who finished their Master’s degree by September 19, 1992, are also eligible to take the HP SET with a 5% reduction in qualifying marks at the Master’s level.
Criteria 4: Candidates must take the HP SET test in the topic relevant to their qualification at the Master’s level. Candidates who do not find an appropriate topic might take the UGC NET exam, which is held twice a year.
Candidates who have finished PGDs (Post Graduate Diploma) courses are eligible to take the HP SET. He/she should keep in mind, however, that the relevant PGD is recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) – New Delhi.
Exemption from HP SET 2024

Exemption Rule 1: Applicants who have received a PhD in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for the Award of a PhD Degree) Regulations 2009 are exempt from the HP SET 2024.
Exemption Rule 2: Applicants who passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) prior to June 1, 2003, are exempt from the HP SET 2024, and they are eligible for recruitment to the job of Assistant Professor in all universities and colleges across the country.
