Under Distance Education, the university offers several levels such as Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs. Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for GITAM University Distance Education, check the eligibility conditions mentioned below:

BA:

• Applicant must have completed 10+2 with relevant subjects from some recognised board of Andhra Pradesh state or any other exam recognised by the GITAM University.
• Candidates will be selected by merit marks attained by the candidates
• GAT exam will be commenced by GITAM University to select the applicant.

B.Com         

• Applicant must have completed Class XII with the relevant subjects from the  recognised board of Andhra Pradesh state or any examination recognised by the GITAM University.
• Candidates will be selected on the basis of Merit and Entrance marks for the duration of 2 years

MA has Specialization in English and Economics:

Eligibility Criteria for English:

• Applicant must be an undergraduate completed 3 or 4 years from an institute recognised by the university
• Candidate must be a professional with qualifications such as CA/ACS etc.

Eligibility Criteria for Economics:

• Candidate must be possessed with the Passed degree other than BFA and BAOL from some recognized university.
• Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit and entrance exam.
• The course duration is 2years

MBA have Specializations in General and HRM

• Aspirant must have completed graduation degree with the relevant subjects except for BFA & BOL from some recognised institute by the university
• Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit based on Academic performance and Entrance test

Admission Details:

Admission to Centre for Distance learning takes place in 2 cycles i.e. January and June. Admission is available in offline/online mode. You can download the application form from the official website or can also be acquired from the university in person.

• To apply for UG programs, admission is based on the merit marks of the applicants and ranks acquired in GAT Entrance test commenced by the university.
• To apply for Postgraduate courses, the admission is provided on the basis of Merit marks and rank attained in the GAT entrance test commenced by GITAM University.
• Diploma courses require Merit marks obtained in the qualifying degree.

Online Mode:

1. To apply in the online mode, first start the registration through official website of CDL, GITAM University.
2. Now, click on the banner Online Admissions to register. Fill in the details such as Degree, Programme, Group of subjects, Medium, etc
3. Make sure to fill in the personal details such as Name, Date of Birth, centre for the entrance exam etc
4. Now, submit the application form fee via DD, or use some other mode of transaction such as Net Banking/Credit card etc.
5. Towards the end, fill in the other details in the form such as Address, work experience etc

Offline Mode:

If you are applying in the offline mode, then follow the step-by-step process below:

1. First, download the application from via official website of the institute.
2. Once you have downloaded the application form, take a print of the same for further reference.
3. Now, fill in the personal and educational details in the application form
4. After this, enclose the documents such as Certificate, Date of birth proof and Demand draft of the total fees in the favor of the university.
5. Lastly, submit the Application form along with prescribed documents at the CDL, University.
