Goa Common Entrance Test or GCET is a state-level entrance examination using which the candidates can take admission into Engineering courses. This examination is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa.

GCET Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria for the GCET entrance examination-
- The applicant must be a citizen of India with the domicile of Goa
- The applicant is required to have passed class 12th from a recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates)
GCET Application Form 2024
The following are the step by step instructions on how to apply for the GCET entrance examination-
- Visit the official website of GCET and click on the admission button followed by selecting the GCET Application form
- Now, you’ll be redirected to a page where you’ll have to download the application form and take a printout of the application form
- Now, fill the form with correct details like name, address, education qualification, etc.
- After filling the form, attach the xerox copies of the documents mentioned below to the application form
- For the application fee payment, you’ll have to visit any bank and get the Demand Draft prepared by the bank of the application fee in the name of the Directorate of Technical Education
- Now, put the filled application form along with the documents in an envelope and sent it to the below-mentioned address.

GCET Admit Card 2024
The admit card is a very important document that every candidate must carry with them, failing so would cause the candidate’s examination to be cancelled. You can download your admit card from the official website of GCET however, GCET hasn’t yet released the admit card for GCET 2024. We will update the admit card status once the DTE, Goa releases the admit card.

Counselling is an event where the candidates who have passed the entrance examination are commenced and offered admission into the university.
