CENTAC conducts the admission process providing private & government colleges in Puducherry and other Union Territories/states. CENTAC Eligibility Criteria
The following are the list of eligibility criteria for different courses-
For B. Tech. Course
- Candidates are required to have passed class 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks in the above qualifying exam (40% marks in case of reserved category) with Physics & Mathematics along with one of the given subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science
- For SC, three attempts application & for other, only two attempts
For B. Pharma. Course
- Candidates are required to have passed class 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks in the above qualifying exam (40% marks in case of reserved category) with Physics, Biology, Chemistry & English
For BAMS Course
- Candidates are required to have passed class 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks in the above qualifying exam (40% marks in case of reserved category) with Physics, Biology, Chemistry & English
- There is only one attempt to limit
BDS and MBBS Courses
- Candidates must have cleared class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks (SC/ST/OBC-40% marks aggregated) and with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Bio-Technology, Zoology, Botany and English individually
- Admission is based on the rank acquired in NEET exam
For B.Sc. (MLT) Course
- Candidates must have cleared class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks (SC/ST/OBC-40% marks aggregated) and with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
B.Sc. (Nursing)
- Candidates must have cleared class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks (SC/ST/OBC-40% marks aggregated) and with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
CENTAC Application Form
The following are the step by step method to apply for CENTAC-
- Visit the official website of the CENTAC- https://www.centacpuducherry.in/
- Register on the website with your email Id, mobile number, name
- You have to fill the application form by navigating to the application form
- Some of the details that you must fill on the application form are Date of Birth, Category, Nationality, qualification details such as Year of Passing, Percentage of marks, etc, details to contact, and choice for the exam centre.
- Now click on the proceed button
- Now upload the necessary documents mentioned below
- A payment page asking for paying the application fee will appear. You can pay your application fee using a credit/debit card, UPI, Bank Challan, etc.
- A confirmation page will appear that you have to download the payment fee confirmation as well as the application fee for future use

CENTAC Selection Process
The selection process of CENTAC will be based on the entrance examination and qualifying examination merit list. . Candidate must meet the minimum cut-off marks in the entrance examination to become eligible for admission into the CENTAC also a similar cut-off mark will be released for the merit-based entrance exam. CENTAC Merit List
The merit list will be prepared based on the entrance exam and/or merit-based class 12the examination. The merit list consists of the names of the candidates who are selected to take admission into the university.
CENTAC Counselling
Counselling is organized by Central Admission Committee to invite candidates who have scored more than the minimum cut-off marks in the entrance test. This is an offline meetup where you have to visit to block your seat for the course that you want to choose. At the venue, you have to present all the documents that are necessary for admission.
