Eligibility Criteria for Indian Institute of Information Technology Admission 2024:

Eligibility criteria must be checked before applying for IIIT Admission. Here are the eligibility conditions:

• A person should be a citizen of India.
• Applicants must have completed Class X and XII or its equivalent from some recognized board/university.
• It is compulsory to have cleared XII with subjects such as Physics and Mathematics and attained at least 55% marks as the minimum percentile.
• There is no specific age to apply for admission. However, relevant scores in JEE Main are required to apply.
• Those who have cleared the JEE Main exam must be acquired with the UGEE entrance exam.

Counseling:

Those who have their names in the merit list will appear for counseling. Candidates will get the seat on the basis of the merit list and candidate’s category. As soon as the seats are allotted, a waiting list will also be released on the official website. Counseling process comprises of four rounds. Applicants are required to report for counseling on the stipulated date and time to confirm the seat. Candidates in the waiting list will seek the seats only if seats are available.
