IISER Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria for IISER admission–
For KVYP
- The candidates will have to participate in the KVYP entrance examination and score good marks to take admission into the IISER
For JEE Mains
- The candidates can take admission into the institute by participating in the JEE Mains examination. The institute releases the cut-off marks for admission and those candidates who have scored more marks than the cut-off marks will be provided with the admission
For SCB
- The candidates can take admission into the institute by participating in the state-level entrance examination of that particular state where the institute is situated
IISER Application Form 2024
The following are the step-by-step instructions on how to apply for the IISER application form–
- Visit the official website of the IISER and click on the admission button
- Now, use the email Id to create an account in the IISER followed by logging into your account using the login credentials
- After logging in, fill out the application form with details like name, address, education qualification, etc.
- After filling out the application form, upload the documents mentioned below followed by clicking on the pay button
- You can pay for the application form using your credit/debit card, net banking, UPI, etc.
- After making payment, make sure to take a printout of the application form and payment receipt

IISER Admission Process
Admission into the IISER is based on merit and the candidates can take admission via three modes. The following is the admission process for the IISER–
For SCB
Every state has a state-level entrance examination for providing state candidates with admission into the university. You can participate in the entrance examination and can take admission into the institute.
For JEE Mains
For admission through the JEE Mains, the candidates must complete and rank higher at the All India level. The candidates will have to evaluate and fill out the JoSAA counseling form and mention the IISER as one of the options for admission flowed by participating in the counseling process.
For KVYP
