Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee or AP DSC released a notification for the recruitment of the candidates as a Teacher. The recruitment of the candidates is done through an entrance examination called the “Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test cum Teacher Recruitment Test” or the TET cum TRT entrance examination. The candidates who clear the examination are recruited into the education institutes operated by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. AP DSC Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria for AP DSC-
Secondary Grade Teachers/ School Assistant/ Language Pandit/ Physical Education Teacher/ Music/ Art and Drawing/ Craft
- The candidate must have a valid bachelor degree from a recognized university with a B.Ed. (General) are eligible
- The candidate must have the subject matter skill as skill test will also be conducted
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
- The candidate must have a valid bachelor degree from a recognized university with a B.Ed in the relevant subject matter
Post Graduate Teacher
- The candidate must have a valid bachelor degree from a recognized university with a B.Ed. & M.Ed. in the relevant subject matter

- Visit the official website of AP DSC and click on the admission tab
- After clicking on the admission tab, you’ll have to select the AP DSC TET
- Now, you’ll be redirected to the main website of TET examination where you’ll have to get yourself registered using your email Id and password
- After registration is complete, login to your account using your login credentials
- After logging in, start filling the form with correct details like name, address, education qualification, etc.
- Now, upload the documents mentioned below and click on the upload button
- After uploading the documents, you’ll have to pay the application fee using a credit/debit card, net banking, UPI, etc.
- Make sure to take a printout of the application fee and payment receipt for the future use

AP DSC Selection Process
The selection in the AP DSC will be based on the merit list prepared based on the entrance examination. AP DSC also releases a minimum cut-off mark, any candidate who has scored more marks than the cut-off marks will be eligible for further evaluation of the candidates. After completing the selection process, the candidate will be offered a job as a teacher.

Eligibility criteria for AP DSC 2024 is different for different teaching position. Candidates should have the required education qualification like Degree with D.Ed. or B.Ed. and may need to pass the Teacher Eligibility Test as well.
