SBI Clerk 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria that a candidate must follow to take part in the SBI CLERK entrance examination-
Education Qualifications
- The candidate must have cleared the graduation in any stream
Nationality
- Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or, a Subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement or a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India or Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India in their favor.
Age Criteria
- There is a minimum age criterion of 20 years of age and maximum age criteria of 28 years of age, however, for the reserved category SC/ST & OBC, the age limit relaxation years is as follows-

SBI Clerk Result
The result for the SBI Clerk examination will be declared after the examination is conducted in all phases. The candidate has to visit the official website of the SBI Clerk and navigate to the result tab to check his/her result.
SBI Clerk Selection Process
The selection process will be based on the cumulative marks scored by the candidate at every stage. The candidates must score minimum cut-off marks set by SBI during each stage of the examination and become eligible for participating in the next stage of the examination. The SBI Clerk examination is divided into three stages, Mains, and Language Proficiency Test
Candidates who passed prelims will be eligible for Mains and candidates who passed the mains and Language Proficiency Test. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in the main examination and LPT. Cut-off marks will be released for this stage separately and the candidates who scored more than or equal to the cut-off marks will be provided with the job, however, it is also subject to the seats available as well.
At the final stage, the documents of the candidates will be checked and final verification of the documents will be done. The following are the documents that the candidates must carry with them-
- Printout of the valid Interview Call Letter.
- The valid system generated a printout of the online application form
- Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Municipal Authorities or SSLC/ Std. X Certificate with DOB)
- Photo Identify Proof – candidate’s photo identity (bearing the same name as it appears on the call letter) such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer/ People’s Representative along with a photograph / Identity Card issued by a recognized college/ university/ Aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID should be submitted to the invigilator for verification
- Ration Card and E-Aadhar card will not be accepted as valid id proof
- Mark sheets & certificates for Graduation or equivalent qualification etc. Proper document from the Board/University for having completed the degree has to be submitted
- Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by the Government of India in the case of SC / ST / OBC category candidates
